Southford Schoolrooms opened it’s doors to the public for the first time on Saturday, after 9 months of extensive refurbishment, and received ‘top marks’ from Cllr Rob Lyons, Mayor.

Dartmouth Pre-school served tea and cakes while Fr Will Hazelwood conducted tours of the flats.

There was an overwhelmingly positive response to the transformation of the building which has secured the future of the Pre-school.

Pam Reeves, Manager of Dartmouth Pre-school commented: ‘It was a lovely day and we were able to enjoy the garden, and the fantastic views from the balcony.  Everyone was thrilled with the new space for the children.  We are indebted to everyone who has contributed to the success of the project, and particularly Fr Will and his team who have committed so much of their time to see this through to completion.’
